Q Nutritions is a nutraceutical contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, with qualified production and sourcing partners in the United States, China, India and the UAE. We work with distributors, pharmacy chains, clinical brands and fast-growing DTC labels that need one accountable partner for formulation, compliance and supply.
Our teams have executed more than 2,400 commercial SKUs across softgels, tablets, capsules, gummies, powders and liquids. Every project is led by a named project manager and supported by in-house formulators, QA/QC analysts and regulatory specialists who prepare the market-entry documentation your buyers and customs brokers will request.
Eight integrated service lines remove the hand-off risk between formulator, factory, lab and freight forwarder — so your launch timeline holds.

“Their R&D team reformulated our multivitamin to hit a clean-label spec without losing potency at 24 months. Three production runs, zero delays.”
“The regulatory team prepared our GCC dossier and Free Sale Certificates. Customs clearance in Dubai took days, not weeks — that alone paid for the project.”
“We launched a sugar-free pectin gummy line at 5,000 units to test retail, then scaled 20× on the same specification. No reformulation required.”
Practical answers sourced from the questions our sales engineers field every week.
MOQs start at 1,000 units for capsules, tablets and softgels, 500 kg for powder blends and 5,000 units for gummies. Lower pilot volumes are available for stability studies and market-testing batches, so emerging brands can validate demand before committing to full production.
A stock formulation with private label packaging typically ships in 6–8 weeks. A fully custom formulation — including R&D, ingredient sourcing, pilot batch, stability and regulatory review — generally takes 8–12 weeks from approved specification. Component lead times for custom bottles or cartons are the most common variable, so we lock those early.
Our network operates under Health Canada Site Licences, US FDA facility registration, GMP certification, NSF, HACCP and ISO 22000, plus Organic, Halal and Kosher certification for qualifying lines. Certificates of Analysis, batch records and allergen statements are supplied with every shipment, and audit documentation is available under NDA.
Yes. Our regulatory affairs team prepares NPN submissions for Health Canada, FDA-compliant Supplement Facts labelling, EU food supplement notifications, GCC/UAE registration dossiers and export paperwork such as Free Sale Certificates and Certificates of Origin. We also screen claims against the evidence standard applied in each jurisdiction.
We produce HPMC vegan capsules, pectin gummies, plant-based softgels, gluten-free and dairy-free powders, and sugar-free effervescent tablets. Allergen control programmes, dedicated tooling and validated cleaning protocols with swab verification prevent cross-contamination between runs.
Every batch is tested for identity, potency, heavy metals, microbiology and residual solvents using HPLC, ICP-MS and GC-MS methods. Results are confirmed by an independent ISO 17025 laboratory, and retained samples are held for the full declared shelf life so any market query can be traced back to the original lot.
Custom formulas developed against your brief and funded by your programme remain your intellectual property, documented in the manufacturing agreement. Stock and platform formulas remain ours and are licensed to you for private label use. Confidentiality is covered by a mutual NDA signed before technical discussions begin.
